Poetess, writer, translator and playwright Leda Mileva passed away today at the age of 93. She died on her birthday – February 5. The poetess was born in Sofia in 1920 and was the daughter of poet Geo Milev. She used to be an editor-in-chief of the children’s show of the Bulgarian National Radio and then a director of the Bulgarian National TV. Leda Mileva was a Bulgarian representative at the UNESCO and member of the board of directors of the International Fund for the Promotion of Culture with the same organization.
