The shortlist for the German Book Prize has been announced and the list includes Julia Franck who has a story appearing in the upcoming issue of Absinthe (to be published in October).

Very nice seeing those you publish in the big award competions - no wonder Absinthe is so damn good each issue.
Also enjoying the one post per month - much better than the spring/summer rates!
